This activity was organized for the first time in The Hague University of Applied Sciences in 2022.  It is a short activity that encourages students and staff of THUAS to clean the surrounding environment of The Hague University of Applied Sciences together.

 

This year students and staff participated and for just 25 minutes they were able to gather quite a number trash bags full of waste which were sorted at the garbage collection area. The activity was culminated by a Zero Waste lunch together.

 

We are grateful to the Center of Expertise Mission Zero, Zero Waste FZ&IT and The Lighthouse who co-organized and co-facilitated the event. The event was indeed a fun way to turn a regular lunch walk with colleagues into a useful activity.
